Round Up is our fall gathering for members, potential members, and friends of ACDA to come together for an afternoon of food, fellowship, and sharing of ideas. Over 30 members and friends attended—many familiar faces, but many new ones as well. Hosted by Esther Yoo, president of ACDA-Hawaii, with catering by "Da Spot," we also enjoyed the hospitality of the use of the Von Holt Room at the offices of the Cathedral Church of St. Andrews and the ever gracious John Renke, cathedral director of music.
The central discussion of Round Up was "what can ACDA do for you?" While our organization has sponsored Round Up, the Sacred Music Festival, and a high school choral event for many years, we are always looking for other ways to support our members and strengthen our organization. What can we do for our members? We always welcome your ideas and support. Our organization survives because of the dedicated service of a small cadre of volunteer supporters who recognize the value of nurturing the choral arts here in Hawaii. Please consider giving your own gift of time in the year to come to help us grow as a stronger organization.
